Newari Cuisine 

Newar is very rich  not only in culture but also in cuisine. Almost 100 plus varieties of cultural food is consumed by newars. Various foods has been modernised on the foundation of newari cultural food. 

Some of the cultural food used to consumed by newars are going to vanished. It is, therefore, need of time to conserve not only cultural but also food associated with it which clearly reflect the authentic newari culture. 

If we are able to protect such cultural cusine & pass to the new upcoming generation, it will revive forever. 

Furthermore, Being rich in cuisine , there is a huge potential of Gastronomy & food tourism which can be developed only by protecting our diversified newari cuisine.

Ban Ganesh aka Bhude Ganeshthan

Bude Ganesh aka Ban Ganesh

It lies in the middle of Gopalewor / Jangale Ban. There is a small well but water may or may not be available. A small picnic spot is available there for get together & family gathering. 

A proper way has to reach there has been developed. Its a complete nature walk to reach there.

Chor Dulo, Dollu, Pharping

Exploring Chor Dulo 

 

A small cave just lies on the top of Dollu named as Chor Dulo after the thief used to stay to hide in ancient times as told by locals. 

Cave is small hole .However , we can enter there by standing through small passages . Buddhists have set up a statue to worship here. 

Somehow it is threating as no light enter here. We got chance to observe a hanging bat too. 

Limestone structures and droplets of water inside the cave is the thing I get attached with.

Buddhists believed that Guru Rinpoche aka Padhmasambhav who is considered as a second buddha has got enlightment from this cave. There are major three cave including this and others namely Asura Cave & Yanglashi Cave.

 Pharping is renowned as Yanglashi for Buddhist, a major pilgrimage place just like Boghgaya where Gautam Buddha got enlightment.Buddhists believed that Guru Rinpoche aka Padhmasambhav who is considered as a second buddha has got enlightment from this cave. Thadokhola Jharana aka Mohini Jharana @ Kulekhani

Thado khola Jharana aka Mohini Jharana @ kulekhani 

It lies exactly opposite to next hill from markhu from where we can observe beautiful & mesmerising view of Kulekhani Dam including green tree hills. It takes approximately 1 hour from kalanki to reach this jharana through private vehicles. Kalanki is a junction point from where we got seperate from the way to markhu and Jharana.

Off road drive with the wide angle view of Indrasarobar, kulekhani dam  is the thing that I enjoyed during travel. However , we got bother through dust and ups & downs of vehicle.

The most surprising thing is the destination i.e waterfall. The wow moments starts from the point we observe them far. As we go closer, we   more feels wonderful. The healing sound of falling water  bestow us inner peace. The tiny spreading droplets of water attracts us more. 

Better go with extra clothes because you will not get back with out feeling the sense of waterfalls.

Gurjo , a medicinal herb

 

Gurjo  is a medicinal herb recently gone viral due to its capacity to boost immunity power .

It is a herbaceous vine that grows and spreads extensively and has heart-shaped leaves with multiple elongated twining branches. 

 Ayurved is using it as a medicine . Using this herb in combination with ginger, turmeric, tulasi, and pepper could boost people’s immunity so as to prevent the coronavirus as confirmed by ayurved and even Ramdev  baba have recommend it.

Naumule, from a name , it is clear that it has nine spring which lies in Dollu , pharping of Dakshinkali Municipality. It is such a amazing place that it is not evergreen water resources , since water comes temporarily or seasonal. There was and will be a time that this place was & will be a dry place as we have even seen ant moving in the spring and seems as a small hole ground too. People believes that the water came here from himalayas and somehow force to convenience as the water is too cold to bear for human skin. At the same time, We cannot neglect the mystery of spring water which need to be confirmed through data, research and deep study. 

Whenever there is water , there is a smile in a place which adds beauty to a place. As heard , there is linkage of the spring presence in Hattiban Habeli & Dollu. After huge rain , when water comes to emerge and start at  Habeli spring , people predict the Naumule spring emerges again and found to be true.
Recently, on the hot sunny day, the craze of people visiting here has increased alarmingly. People come here to bath, to wash clothes and even private vehicle.
Most of people are found to be presence here to enjoy scenic beauty and capture in their device and later post on social media on my day which helps in making it as a trending location day by day.
No doubt social media has played and is playing vital role to attracts more people to enjoy the sceneic beauty and get healed from sound of water.
People are surprised of the increase number of visitors.specially, people have built temporary natural swimming pool by storing the moving water which attracts youths to get relief from sun in this summer.
